Day 3 - not much going
Yesterday I woke up rather late after a long work night and my plans for the day got a little messed around. Instead of going to work and the childrens museum during the day I rested during the morning and then I went to the mall. Not to bore you any longer I shopped, then lunched and finally went to a barbecue. There was nothing new or life changing about it so wait till tonight for a real post about today, where hopefully I do something of value. Not to say the day was bad, it was actually quite lovely, but it certainly wasn't revolutionary.

Day 2 - up and down and all around
My goal today was to have lunch with a friend at the Indianapolis Museum of Art and then kayak down the canal in downtown Indy.
In the end in true Indy style, the kayak store manager decided to sleep in past 2pm and so I did not kayak. I think I might need to do more planning before attempting anything new. Everything worked out, however, as I walked for 5 miles and went to the rehearsal space that Nathan was at. As I walked close to the building I saw Nathan standing outside. 100 ft away in him texting. The text was for me, telling me that he adjust landed a role with the LA Philharmonic to premiere a new work and it was just amazing to find this out and we had a moment of eye meeting across the streetn in celebration. I certainly won't forget today, ever.
The most memorable part of the day might be breaking my finger at work today and then continuing to work for 7 hours.
I had so many thoughts today during my walk about ennui and why we have it. I came to a partial conclusion that our generation is made up of one where we study for more years in school then any other generation has, and yet it has never been harder for us to find jobs or find a place in the world or a way to use our own talents to give back. My Mum said that we need more gratitude and I agree, but there is something to be said about all our learning ending up in a 9-5 job or spending so much time making money to live, that in the end we don't live at all.
I wanted to say more on the subject but at am I am ready to crash. Thank you to my one follower. :)

Day 1 a Blog begins
Follow my blog with bloglovin
Today is my first blog ever so this might not be terribly interesting. I decided to start a blog after seeing an old friend from my Masters program's blog and getting white inspired.
Now, her blog is called 100 days in Paris and that is pretty exciting, but I thought to myself, "not all of us are in Paris all the time but hopefully our lives are still interesting, right?" Or maybe not. At least not always.
This blog is called life between school because for one year, I have not been in school and although I will be back in school for pre vet and then vet school starting this fall till I am 32, I want to remember this year.
So far I have been pretty lazy. I waitress a few nights a week and sing at my church job which keeps me moving. I do the basics like house cleaning and cooking and working out (etc) but what have I got to say for this year? Not much... So far.
so I am stealing my friends idea, but instead of 100 days in Paris, obviously much cooler, I am going to try an experiment called "100 days to remember"
For the next 100 days I am going to find something to do other than my boring schedule to make the year memorable. It might not be crazy, like sky diving every day, but somehow I am going to make sure I don't forget about this ya, because one whole year wasted is sad and I think. S ready to give up the no school excuse.
I would live comments and ideas and any thoughts to roll in to help boost these next 100 days.
By the way, today's achievement was standing in line at the apple store for my iPad. This could have been boring but instead I met amazing people and had an incredible time and somehow 3 hours became fun and exciting. We were all in the drama together of not knowing if our early morning wake up would pay off. Best yet, I got to hear some crazy stories from complete strangers.
